Leaf Blower Open House for Landscapers

Representatives from local landscaping companies are invited to learn more about the Village's gas-powered leaf blower ordinance and incentives for complying during the Open House for Landscapers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30 at the Community Recreation Center, 229 Madison St. in Oak Park.

The operation of gas-powered leaf blowers is restricted year-round in Oak Park effective June 1, 2025, pursuant to Village ordinance 8-41-4. To assist in a successful shift to electric leaf blowers, Village staff has developed a comprehensive rollout plan that reinforces our commitment to supporting the ordinance through transparent communication and increased awareness.
