Yard Sign Recycling

Oak Park residents are invited to recycle political yard signs through a special collection in the lobby of the Public Works building, 201 South Blvd., during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays until April 15.

Please separate the plastic signs from the metal holders and place into the appropriately labeled box.

The corrugated plastic and aluminum frames used in yard signs are not eligible for recycling through the Village’s residential recycling program, so residents are asked to refrain from disposing the signs in their recycling carts and instead use the drop-off system at Public Works.
