Neighborhood Services

The Neighborhood Services Department’s mission is to help Oak Parkers live out their shared values of equity and inclusion through neighborhood-based problem solving, programs and services. It welcomes all members of the community to join in cultivating opportunities for deeper engagement with one another.

The Neighborhood Services Department strives to enhance quality of life through housing, programs and grants to support households with low-to moderate incomes and ensure access to alternative services. The department demonstrates its commitment to safety, health and well-being by enforcing property maintenance codes and local ordinances.
