Connect and celebrate with the community as the Village of Oak Park will host its third annual Black History Month Honors Celebration on Sat., Feb. 8 beginning at 10:30 a.m. inside the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association, 178 Forest Ave. 

Admission to the Black History Month Honors Celebration is free, but space is limited. Those interested in attending can click here to reserve a spot, or visit this link on the side of the page. Doors to the venue will open at 10:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 11 a.m., continuing until about 1:30 p.m.

The annual event features speakers, performers, interactive activities, music, light refreshments and more while highlighting the annual Black History Month theme. The theme for 2025 is African Americans and Labor.
