The public is invited to meet the Villag'es new Chief Building Official Steve Cutaia at an open house in Room 101 at Village Hall 123 Madison St. In addition to overseeing building permit activity for Oak Park, Cutaia will play a key role in the implementation of CityView, the Village’s new software solution for permitting, licensing and inspection services.
Cutaia is a Master Code Professional and Certified Building Official and also has a master’s degree in business and public administration. He comes to Oak Park from Prospect Heights where he was public works director after being assistant director of the Building & Zoning Department. His other experience includes serving as building administrator for Park Ridge and a plans examiner for Glenview and Round Lake Beach.
