The Village Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the many advisory boards and commissions that help research important issues, gather public input and provide valuable perspectives on a wide range of pending policy decisions.
All Oak Park residents are eligible to participate, including renters and high school students.
Current needs include a structural engineer or fire safety professional for the Building Codes Advisory Commission and high school juniors or seniors to serve on the Community Relations Commission and the Public Art Advisory Commission. Positions are also available on the Community Development Citizens Advisory Committee, Civic Information Systems Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
