Assessments that can help lower a home’s energy costs and boost comfort and value are available through Elevate Energy, formerly the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT).
Assessments are $99 or free to homeowners who invite five to 10 friends and neighbors to view a complete energy audit.
The nonprofit organization also can connect homeowners with certified contractors, identify rebates for air sealing and insulation improvements and provide help with interest-free loans for all work completed.
