Featured speaker Mark Nussbaum will share information about the integration of ground source heat pumps into historic buildings during this special Earth Month talk hosted by the Historic Preservation Commission in collaboration with the Environment & Energy Commission.
The event will take place in the Council Chambers at Village Hall, 123 Madison St.
Mark E. Nussbaum, P.E. is the Founder and Principal at Architectural Consulting Engineers in Oak Park, and is currently a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin. He has been in private practice since 1995. The two principal areas in which Mark works are: Historic Properties; and the integration of energy-efficient technologies including geothermal systems whenever possible. collections housed within.
The presentation is part of a series of community events taking place during April in celebration of Earth Month. Information about other events planned throughout April is available at www.oak-park.us/earthmonth.
