The Historic Preservation Commission designates Oak Park Historic Landmarks and Historic Districts, and lists properties in the National Register of Historic Places. The Commission also reviews applications for exterior changes and demolition for all locally designated Historic Landmarks and properties within Oak Park’s three historic districts. The Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month. Meetings are open to the public.
