The annual Green Tuesdays public lecture series is held at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St.
Tonight's topic is Talk About Trees.
Beth Corrigan, Community Trees Program Specialist from the Morton Arboretum, will discuss tree issues seen in an urban environment, species diversity and the Arboretum’s new tree selection tool. Village Forestry Superintendent Rob Sproule and Phil Graf of Graf Tree Care will discuss the recently completed tree inventory and the state of the Village’s urban forest. A panel discussion will follow, featuring answers to questions about trees and urban forestry.
