Professional and amateur bakers will vie for the top prize at the inagural Oak Park Farmers' Market pie baking contest. Judging will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with winners announced shortly thereafter. Slices of pie will be given away to market visitors after the contest is concluded. Slices are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Oak Park Farmers' Market offers high quality, locally grown produce in the friendly, historic Village of Oak Park. The market is held in the Pilgrim Church Parking lot at 460 Lake St., just one block west of Ridgeland Avenue. Market hours are 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from opening day through October.
