Monday, August 30, 2021  ::   The Desplaines Valley Mosquito Abatement District has scheduled spraying in Oak Park from about 9 p.m. to midnight, Wed., Sept. 1, weather permitting. Spraying is intended to help reduce the number of mosquitoes that carry West Nile virus.

Monday, August 9, 2021  ::   A 40-year-old man and an 18-year old woman from Chicago have been charged in connection with the body of a teenager found Saturday morning in an alley in the 200 block of North Taylor Avenue in Oak Park.
Thursday, August 5, 2021  ::   The recent increase in positive COVID-19 cases leads to public health order requiring wearing a mask in public indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status. Wearing masks outdoors is recommended when social distancing is not possible.
Wednesday, August 4, 2021  ::   The Health Department is taking vaccination opportunities on the road to the high school and the Thursday Night Out event in downtown Oak Park to make getting vaccinated against COVID-19 easy and convenient for anyone 12 years old and older. Look for the mobile response van.
