June 19, 2017 - The sixth annual Oak Park Sculpture Walk is in full swing, with 12 sculptures on display in an outdoor exhibit along Harrison Street between Ridgeland Avenue and Austin Boulevard.
The sculptures were chosen through a juried competition and vary in materials. This year’s Sculpture Walk features work from artists throughout the Midwest, with submissions coming from as far as Missouri and Ohio.
This year's Sculpture Walk continues through Labor Day. Visitors also can download the free Otocast app on their smartphones to access information about the sculptures and hear descriptions of the work by the artists.
The Sculpture Walk is organized by the Oak Park Area Arts Council. For more information, email sculpturewalk@oakparkareaartscouncil.org.
