Volunteers are needed to serve on the Oak Park Farmers’ Market Commission. These volunteers work closely with the Market Manager to make the local market one of the most successful in Illinois.
Commissioners coordinate special events at the Market, help publicize the Market and volunteer on Market Saturdays. Members of the commission also recommend changes in operating policies and/or regulations to the Market Manager and Village Board.
The Farmers’ Market Commission, which is one of nearly 20 volunteer citizen boards, commissions and committees that advise the Village Board, meets at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month.
