Village President, Village Trustee, Park District Commissioner and Library Trustee Election Dates for the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election

On the April 1, 2025 ballot, residents of the Village of Oak Park will be asked to vote for Village President, Village Clerk, three Village Trustees, two Park District Commissioners and four Library Trustees. The ballot will also contain offices for school district, park district and township officials.

The State Legislature passed a bill (SB4488) which has updated the Election Calendar for the 2025 Consolidated Election. 

Timeline for 2025 Consolidated Election 

  • November 12, 2024 – First Day to File Candidate Petitions for the Consolidated Election
  • November 18, 2024 – Last Day to File Candidate Petitions for the Consolidated Election
  • November 25, 2024 – Last Day to File Objections to Nomination Papers
  • November 27, 2024 - Lottery for first position on the ballot held at Village Hall (123 Madison St.) in Council Chambers (room 201) at 10 a.m.
